Strategic Planning Session 5 – “Filling the Gap”

Overview:
This will be a peer-to-peer idea exchange to stay on budget for FY25. Each attendee shares a creative fundraising tactic to stay on budget for FY2025 year-end (each come prepared to share one outside the box idea). The session begins with a brief presentation of unique ideas including those submitted in advance through this Google Form.
Why This Matters:
Community radio thrives on collaboration. This session is designed to build relationships, help stations strengthen fundraising stratgies, and contribute to the long-term sustainability across the RMCR network.
Advance Ideas Submissions will help make this an efficient session.
Bring one creative fundraising tactic that worked for you this year—or one idea you want to test before Dec. 31.
Please share any information you can ahead of time if you plan to attend using this Google Form.
This can be anything from a new donor incentive or event concept to a community partnership or underwriting twist.
No slides needed—just a quick story or example.
Schedule:
5 minute: Brief presentation of who I am and ideas submitted in advance.
5 Minute: Quick around the room introductions
45 minutes: Each person gets 2 minutes(More if less people) to present their idea. Z&W jot notes on flipchart (or digital tool) grouped by themes (Digital, Events, Major Donors, Underwriting, Etc).
5 Minute: Document all shared ideas for recap emailed post-conference.
